About Me...

I was born in Glasgow, Scotland and enlisted in the British Army in 1976, joining the Royal Highland Fusiliers, where I  first learned to play the bagpipes, thereafter the  1/52 Lowland Regiment.  I eventually ended up in Edinburgh and joined the South Queensferry Pipes and Drums. I have played in many different countries including Germany, Holland, France, Spain, South Africa, Austria, Poland, China and Canada.

I moved to Canada in 2008 where I joined St.Andrews Pipes &  Drums and enjoyed a brief spell as Pipe Major  to the band. I currently reside in  St. Catharines  and  played with the Toronto Fire  Services Pipes  and Drums for the past 11 years . I have had  many great honours including Piping the Stanley Cup for David Bolland, playing on stage with the Headstones  and Piping  for The Duchess of York, Lady Sarah Ferguson  as well as many Political figures, The Ford Brothers, John Tory,   and PM  Justin Trudeau.
